First Cohort of 38 Students under the UNESCO "Global Skills Youth Scholarship Program" Arrives at China Craftsman Valley Institutions
On July 1, Caofeidian, Tangshan, Hebei welcomed a special group of visitors. Thirty-eight young students from seven countries—Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Tanzania, Madagascar, Jamaica, and Costa Rica—arrived successively at China Craftsman Valley · Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town. They are the first cohort of international students under the "100 Global Skills Youth Scholarship Program," jointly launched by the UNESCO Global Skills Academy (UNESCO-GSA) and China POCY Group. Hailing from Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, these young talents, driven by their dreams of skill acquisition, have traveled across vast distances to officially embark on a three-month "Chinese + Vocational Skills" study program.

Digital Empowerment, Skills for All | China Craftsman Valley International Industry-Education Integration Workshop Establishes a New Paradigm for "Belt and Road" Vocational Education Cooperation
On June 26, the "Digital Empowerment, Skills for All" China Craftsman Valley International Industry-Education Integration Workshop was successfully held at the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town. Co-hosted by the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED) and China POCY Group, and organized by Caofeidian College of Technology and Tangshan Maritime Institute, the event brought together over 50 policymakers, vocational college presidents, experts, scholars, and industry representatives from China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Participants engaged in in-depth dialogue on key topics including the digital transformation of vocational education, international industry-education integration practices, and cross-border collaborative talent development — exploring new pathways for global industry-education integration and building a new ecosystem for skills talent cultivation.

Connecting Regions Through Vocational Education, Empowering the Future Through Digital Skills | China POCY Group Deeply Engages in the China-Southeast Asia TVET Management Capacity Development Workshop
On June 23, 2026, the China-Southeast Asia TVET Management Capacity Development Workshop opened in Beijing. Guided by Beijing Normal University and co-hosted by the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED), the ASEAN-China Centre, and the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED), with co-organization by UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office for East Asia, China POCY Group, and the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation and Development Committee of the China Association for Non-Government Education, and implemented by Chengdu Global Skills Academy and China Craftsman Valley · Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town, the workshop brought together over 120 policymakers, vocational college presidents, experts, scholars, and industry representatives from China, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Participants engaged in in-depth dialogue on the core themes of vocational education transformation in the digital age. As a pioneer in China‘s industry-education integration and a pathfinder in international vocational education cooperation, Mr. Yao Yichun, Chairman of the Integration of Industry and Education Committee of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations and Chairman and President of China POCY Group, along with Mr. Yang Zhilin, Executive President of China POCY Group, and Ms. Sun Aiping, Executive Vice President, led the Group’s delegation to the workshop.

On June 22, 2026, a delegation comprising Dr. Zhao Yuchi, Executive Director of the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education (INRULED); Dr. Songheang Ai, Centre Director of the SEAMEO Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED); Mr. Rien Chamrong, Vice Head of Public Relations and Partnerships, SEAMEO TED; Mr. Nhil Sothy, Officer of the Technical Education and Training Division, SEAMEO TED; Mr. Eng Vanna, IT Lecturer at the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI), Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of Cambodia; Mr. Ratana Chuob, Director of the Tourism Professional Training Department and Head of the NCTP Secretariat, Ministry of Tourism; Mr. Kumnith Chhim, Head of the Department of General Secondary Education, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport; Mrs. Srey Lot Tha, Officer of the Finance Department, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport; and Mr. NGET SODA, Director of the Takeo Regional Teacher Training Center, visited China POCY Group for an exchange and dialogue. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on core topics including cross-border talent cultivation, joint faculty development, digital vocational education, and joint program development, reaching multiple practical cooperation consensus. Mr. Yang Zhilin, Executive President of China POCY Group, and Ms. Sun Aiping, Executive Vice President, hosted the delegation. As a prominent Chinese representative deeply engaged in international industry-education integration, Mr. Yao Yichun, Chairman of the Integration of Industry and Education Committee of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations and Chairman and President of China POCY Group, along with Ms. Ma Jia, General Manager of the Education Business Division of China POCY Group, were invited to attend this distinguished gathering.
