Beijing Health Valley·Caofeidian in Tangshan is situated in the urban area of Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is located at the core of the capital economic circle and to the south of the Bohai Bay, serving as Beijing’s gateway to the Sea. Drawing on the vocational education resources and experience of the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town, China Craftsman Valley· Caofeidian College of Technology, and Tangshan Maritime Institute, the project is guided by China POCY Group’s IERC (Industry-Education Retirement Community) model to establish Tangshan’s first comprehensive community integrating vocational education, medical services, and elderly care.

The first phase of Beijing Health Valley·Caofeidian in Tangshan will include the construction of the Four Seasons Wellness Center, the ACC 24/7 Recreation Center, the BLOCK Commercial Street, and the “Beijing Home” Elderly Care Community. This phase covers17.5 hectares, with an investment of around USD 278 Million. It leverages the educational and medical resources of the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town and Tsinghua Changgung Hospital, integrating with newly planned commercial and wellness community facilities to form a comprehensive IERC system of education, healthcare, commerce, and community.

There are four China Craftsman Valley-branded vocational institutions, including Caofeidian College of Technology, Tangshan Maritime Institute, Tangshan Experimental Secondary Vocational School, and Tangshan Craftsman Technical School. With a current student population exceeding 40,000, these schools collectively train over 5,000 students annually in fields such as nursing, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation, elderly care, and domestic services, providing a strong talent base for the medical, elderly care, and commercial sectors of the Beijing Health Valley project.

"Beijing Home" Elderly Care Community of Beijing Health Valley·Caofeidian in Tangshan is located beside the inland lake of Bohai Bay, where the sea and sky merge, offering unmatched views and natural beauty. In addition to 6.5 kilometers of exclusive coastline, the area is surrounded by notable tourist attractions such as Long Island, Caofeidian Wetland Park, Leting Coastal Resort, and Doma Amusement Park. The community design incorporates a mix of high-rise residences, townhouses, and courtyard villas—whether on a balcony, terrace, or in a courtyard, every household enjoys ocean views, making each residence a genuine seaside home.

Residents of the “Beijing Home” community can access Tangshan Maritime Institute directly through a “Time Tunnel.” Facilities such as the library, activity center, gymnasium, and canteen will be open to elderly residents. Complemented by supporting commercial services, the project addresses the elderly’s healthcare, dining, housing, mobility, and entertainment needs through a full-chain commercial ecosystem, creating diverse consumption scenarios. A comprehensive, age-friendly living ecosystem will be established within the community, meeting the diverse lifestyle needs of residents and offering a high-quality “neighborhood consumption” experience for both the elderly and students. It also contributes to forming a new commercial hub in the region.
