Project Introduction
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Health Valley Project
covers a total area of 184 hectares, with a total investment of USD 1.71 billion. And the new campus of the Hebei Agricultural University’s College of Modern Science and Technology occupies 76.6 hectares; Baoding Vocational and Technical College occupies about 66.7 hectares; the “Beijing Home” Elderly Care Community spans 30.1 hectares;the Timewalk Baoding Commercial Street and China POCY Global Center cover 10.5 hectares. Following the IERC model, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei International Health Valley Project adheres to the concept of “Four-in-One Integration, Open Sharing.” It deeply integrates the medical resources of the Baoding International Medical Base with the educational resources of the Hebei Agricultural University’s College of Modern Science and Technology and Baoding Vocational and Technical College. The new campus of the College of Modern Science and Technology at Hebei Agricultural University will be planned according to a functional layout of "two cores, three axes, two zones, and four colleges." Key facilities such as the nursing training center, library, gymnasium, and wellness park will be jointly developed and shared with the “Beijing Home” Elderly Care Community, enabling senior residents to enjoy a vibrant new model of home-based elderly living—residing within a university environment, enriched with educational and wellness resources.
-
Following the Industry-Education Retirement Community (IERC) model, the project will integrate the School of Medicine, the University for the Elderly, Time Baoding Commercial Street, the Healthcare and Wellness Center, and other functional facilities to create an open, shared, and ecologically pleasant environment. It aims to seamlessly combine the campus, park, home, and industrial park into one cohesive system. Leveraging the resources of the Baoding International Medical Hub, the project will establish a deeply integrated model of “University + Community + Hospital” to build a comprehensive medical, rehabilitation, elderly care, and education ecosystem. This ecosystem will serve both young students and senior residents by bringing together vocational colleges, senior universities, medical institutions, rehabilitation centers, retirement communities, cultural tourism, and commercial amenities under a unified and collaborative development framework.
