China POCY Group signed a Cooperation Agreement with French Academy of Overseas Sciences

On May 18, 2025, Yang Zhilin, Executive President of China POCY Group, and Dominique Barjot, President and Academician of French Academy of Overseas Sciences , signed a cooperation agreement at the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education Town. The two parties will further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and cultural exchange.

April 3–5, 2024

A delegation from China Crafts Valley, comprising representatives from Caofeidian College of Technology and Tangshan Maritime Institute, visited South Korea. The delegation conducted exchange visits to several institutions, including Gunsan National University, Chonbuk National University, Hoseo University, Seokyeong University, Sejong University, and Yongin University. Discussions focused on project collaboration, academic exchanges, faculty and student training, and Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. Multiple cooperation agreements were signed during the visit. Additionally, the China Baoxin Group Korea (Gunsan) Education Center was officially inaugurated at Gunsan University.

Professor Ling Zong, Senior Engineer at IBM Corporation, was invited to deliver a keynote lecture titled "Principles and Applications of Artificial Intelligence Technology" at Tangshan Maritime Institute. President Li Jiasheng conferred upon Professor Ling the title of "Honorary Professor."

China Craftsman Valley invited Mr. Yin Jixian, Chairman of the Asian Pacific American Public Affairs Association (APAPA), to deliver a lecture titled "Integrating into the Mainstream: From Community to Multinational" at the Vocational Education Town. President Li Jiasheng of Tangshan Maritime Institute awarded Mr. Yin the title of "Honorary Professor."

During the visit, Executive President Mr. Yang Zhilin signed a formal partnership agreement with Professor Margaret Rowe, Vice President of the University of Salford, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation.

The 23rd China Annual Conference and Expo for International Education (CACIE) was grandly held at the Beijing International Convention Center. Dr. Wang Yanting, President of Caofeidian College of Tecnology, delivered a keynote speech at the opening session.

President Wang Yanting was invited to attend the China-Pakistan Vocational Education Cooperation and Development Seminar, where he signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the college.

May 2 to 5, 2023

In order to accelerate the globalization of China Craftsman Valley's vocational education initiatives and further demonstrate its role as a strategic partner of UNESCO, a delegation from China Craftsman Valley visited France at the invitation of UNESCO. The delegation paid an official visit to UNESCO Headquarters, where they held discussions with multiple officials and experts on vocational education cooperation, strengthened partnership ties, explored the future of global education, and shared the vision for the continued development of China Craftsman Valley.

The 2023 Engels International Academic Symposium was held in Eastbourne, UK, co-hosted by the University of Brighton and the UK Marx & Engels International Humanities Exchange Association – MEIA, with co-organization by China POCY Group. Party Secretary Shen Hao and Dean Qin Aijun of the School of Marxism at Tangshan Maritime Institute were invited to attend.

November 10–12, 2023

The 20th Annual Conference of the Asia Education Forum was ceremoniously held at the Tivoli Hotel in Chengdu. Dr. Wang Yanting, President of Caofeidian Vocational and Technical College, along with Executive Vice President Liu Jie, Vice President Bai Jie, and other representatives attended the event. President Wang delivered a speech at the Vocational Education Forum, highlighting the college’s progress in internationalization and dual-track education.

A delegation from the Salford SCC Group (UK) and the UK-Medu British Medical Education Center visited Caofeidian Vocational and Technical College. President Wang Yanting signed a cooperation agreement with Rebecca Louise Cross, Principal of Worsley College, a member institution under the Salford SCC Group, establishing a new milestone in China-UK vocational education collaboration.

The 2023 World Chinese Language Conference was held in Beijing. Caofeidian College of Technology was officially designated as an HSK Chinese Language Learning and Testing Center. President Wang Yanting delivered a keynote speech at the forum, sharing the college’s experience in promoting Chinese language and culture through vocational education.

The Belt and Road International Forum on Vocational Education took place in Baoding and Xiong’an, Hebei Province. President Wang Yanting and Party Secretary Wang Yanli of Caofeidian College of Technology were invited to attend.

Tangshan Maritime Institute signed joint education program agreements with Bangkok Thonburi University and Mahakorn University of Technology (Thailand).

The Secretariat of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project announced the first batch of pilot institutions. Caofeidian College of Technology was selected, and its Big Data Technology major was designated as a pilot discipline in the next-generation information technology category.

November 18–20, 2022

During the 2022 Asian Education Forum Annual Conference in Chengdu, China POCY Group and its affiliated institutions were invited to attend. Caofeidian College of Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Humphreys University (USA).

A virtual signing ceremony was held between Caofeidian College of Technology and Drahomanov National Pedagogical University (Ukraine). Then President Tan Jing and University Vice President Vladimir Grigoryevich signed the memorandum of understanding online.

The “OTHM China Authorized Center - Caofeidian Branch” was inaugurated at Caofeidian College of Technology. Lin Changjiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Caofeidian College of Technology, and Wang Yawei, Chairman of the Board, unveiled the "OTHM Authorized China Center Caofeidian Branch". Wang Yanting, then Vice President, signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the school with Beijing Zhongyi Future Culture Technology Co., Ltd.

To expand China Craftsman Valley’s international education collaboration, Caofeidian College of Technology hosted its first International Cultural Exchange Festival in Beijing — an “Sino-African Education Elites Dinner,” with over 30 principals and education experts from more than 10 African countries joining students and faculty for in-depth discussions on Sino-African educational cooperation.

ThenPresident Tan Jing and Mr. Wang Chen, Executive Director for Greater China at Nishinihon Tomo, signed a “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Sino-Japan Elderly Care Talent Training.”
