On May 7, 2025, Yao Yichun, President of China POCY Group, Chairman of the Integration of Industry and Education Committee of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations, and Deputy Director of Industrial and Educational Integration and School-Enterprise cooperation Committee of China Vocational Education Association, along with Vice President Ding Guosheng, Deputy General Manager of Strategic Investment and Brand Promotion Center Ma Jia, Deputy General Manager of Education Division Lu Yuanlin, and Executive Vice Principal of China Craftsman Valley Vocational and Technical College in Caofeidian Liu Jie, visited Dali Nursing Vocational College for research, discussions. They signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for school-enterprise cooperation, marking the formal establishment of a partnership and laying the foundation for collaboration in industry-education integration, talent cultivation, and international cooperation.
During the meeting, Li Jianping, Director of the Dali Prefecture Education and Sports Bureau, expressed full support for the partnership, promising comprehensive policy and resource backing. He hoped that both parties would seize this opportunity to deepen cooperation in international talent cultivation, technology development, and resource sharing, innovate training mechanisms, and deliver more high-quality professionals to support regional socioeconomic development.
Yao Yichun, President of China POCY Group, introduced the group’s strengths in vocational education, healthcare industries, and international resource integration. He stated that POCY Group is committed to building an “education + industry” ecosystem. This cooperation will leverage POCY’s expertise in the internationalization of vocational education and standardization of the healthcare industry, collaborating with the college to explore innovative models such as international cooperative education and industry-education integration in healthcare. The goal is to cultivate globally competitive, high-quality healthcare professionals.
Liao Huiqun, Party Secretary of Dali Nursing Vocational College, warmly welcomed the Baoxin delegation. Principal Cai Dezhou provided a detailed overview of the college’s distinctive educational approach, academic strengths, and contributions to local economic development, emphasizing that school-enterprise cooperation is a key pathway to high-quality vocational education. He noted that the partnership with POCY Group would drive innovation in programs such as international nursing, traditional Chinese medicine wellness, and smart healthcare, creating a model for industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaboration.
The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on trends in the healthcare industry and implementation pathways for school-to-school and school-enterprise cooperation projects, culminating in the signing of the MoU. According to the agreement, both sides will focus on collaborative projects, including the China Craftsman Valley International Industry-Education Alliance, International Academy, Global Skills Academy, POCY Health Medical Academy, as well as healthcare communities and domestic service stations.
During the visit, the POCY delegation, accompanied by college leaders, toured the college’s training bases and history museum, gaining insights into its development history, teaching facilities, research achievements, and student practical training.
