Faculty and Students of Caifeidian College of Technology Achieve Multiple Honors at the 2nd Hebei Vocational Skills Competition

Skills light the way forward, and craftsmanship builds dreams for Hebei. The 2nd Hebei Vocational Skills Competition, hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and organized by the Handan Municipal Government, concluded on April 28 in Handan. With exceptional skills, a fighting spirit, and outstanding performance, Caofeidian College of Technology’s teacher Cui Jun won a silver medal in the Social Sports Instruction (Fitness) event, student Li Chenyao secured a bronze medal in the Merchandise Display Technology event, and student Li Jiayi earned an Excellence Award in the Industrial Design Technology event. Additionally, the Digital Interactive Media Design and Aircraft Maintenance teams achieved fourth and fifth places, respectively, contributing significantly to Tangshan City’s top ranking on both the medal and points leaderboards.

The college placed great emphasis on participating in the 2nd Hebei Vocational Skills Competition and served as Tangshan City’s training hub. During preparation, college leaders conducted multiple on-site visits to training facilities, addressing practical issues related to venues, equipment, and technical support. The Academic Affairs Office, following the requirements of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, organized coaching teams for each event to thoroughly study competition requirements and technical documents, meticulously crafting scientific and effective training plans. During the competition, the Academic Affairs Office formed a service team led by the office director and supported by two professional instructors, providing comprehensive and meticulous management services with a strong sense of responsibility for the college’s five competitors and four event judges. Secondary colleges and coaching teams adopted a “modular training + intensive preparation” system, diligently working at training posts, refining techniques for each event’s challenges, and continuously enhancing competitors’ skill levels to lay a solid foundation for precise victories.

The outstanding results of this competition not only reflect the college’s motto of “Dedication and Action, Innovation and Excellence” but also mark a spirited chapter in the faculty and students’ pursuit of craftsmanship and technical mastery. The college will continue to leverage the exemplary and leading role of vocational skills competitions in talent cultivation, optimizing the competition system for faculty and students.
