The meeting held in-depth talks centered on key topics including the development of the Global Skills Academy (GSA), the Global Youth Sustainable Career Advancement (GYSCA) initiative, and the joint development and accreditation of international programmes. The discussions aimed to establish cross-border, cross-sectoral collaboration and jointly build a new vocational education ecosystem that empowers young people worldwide.
Mr. Yao Yichun, Chairman and President of China POCY Group and Chair of the Industry-Education Integration Committee of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA) together with Ms. Sun Aiping, Executive Vice President of China POCY Group and Ms. Ma Jia, General Manager of the Education Division of China POCY Group, accompanied and participated in the talks.

1. Aligning International Vision with Chinese Practice: Exploring New Pathways for Industry-Education Integration
During the meeting, Mr. Yao Yichun extended a warm welcome to Dr. Luo Xiang and his delegation. He systematically reviewed China POCY Group's 20-year history of deep commitment to vocational education, with particular emphasis on the Group's pioneering "China Craft Valley" brand and the "Vocational Education City 4.0 Model".
Mr. Yao noted that POCY Group has consistently made "internationalization" a core strategic priority. While deepening its presence in the domestic vocational education market, the Group actively promotes the global outreach of high-quality Chinese vocational education solutions and industry standards. He highlighted the Global Skills Academy (GSA) project as a key vehicle for connecting the Group with global partners and exporting China's vocational education expertise.

Dr. Luo Xiang spoke highly of POCY Group's outstanding achievements and international vision in the field of industry-education integration. He stated that the core mission of UNGLEP is to cultivate ESG leaders who align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to promote global green transformation and sustainable development. He observed a strong alignment between POCY Group's development philosophy and practical approaches and UNGLEP's core objectives. Dr. Luo expressed his hope that the two sides would use this exchange as an opportunity to build a comprehensive, in-depth, and long-term cooperative ecosystem, achieving meaningful synergies in key areas such as green skills development, sustainable talent cultivation, and the joint development of international vocational education standards, thereby injecting new momentum into global vocational education and sustainable development.
2. Pragmatic Cooperation to Empower Youth and Build a New Global Vocational Education Ecosystem
During the working session, the two sides exchanged views and reached broad consensus on issues such as joint capacity building for global youth careers, the interconnection of international educational resources, and the harmonisation of professional accreditation systems.
It is worth noting that UNGLEP has previously launched the Global Youth Sustainable Career Advancement (GYSCA) initiative in collaboration with numerous multinational companies and organisations. With its core model of "UN platform + multinational corporate mentorship + real-world training ecosystem", GYSCA aims to break down geographical barriers and provide young people worldwide with high-quality internship, employment, and capacity-building opportunities.
As a core partner of the UNESCO Global Skills Academy (GSA), China POCY Group will leverage its extensive experience in vocational education and talent development to provide a solid talent cultivation foundation and robust training resource support for the GYSCA initiative. The two sides will jointly develop targeted capacity-building programmes to address the global youth employment challenge and support young people in achieving sustainable career advancement.
3. Jointly Fulfilling the Mission of Sustainable Development and Charting a New Blueprint for Global Cooperation
As a long-term strategic partner of UNESCO, China POCY Group remains committed to its founding mission of "empowering youth, serving industry, and contributing to society", and continues to pursue innovation and best practices in international education. The visit of Dr. Luo Xiang and his delegation represents not only an important opportunity to deepen cooperation between the two sides but also a critical practical engagement at a pivotal moment in the global pursuit of the SDGs. It serves as a key exercise in exploring pathways for coordinated development among education, industry, and global governance, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Looking ahead, China POCY Group will continue to deepen its comprehensive, multi-level cooperation with United Nations agencies and integrate more fully into the global development network. The Group aims to transform "China Craft Valley" from a cradle of skilled talent into a premier hub that brings together global youth leadership, promotes the principles of sustainable development, and fosters cross-cultural exchange. By empowering youth through education and building consensus for development, China POCY Group is committed to contributing its wisdom and strength to the creation of a more equitable, inclusive, green, and sustainable global development landscape.
